Know how to recover hard deleted email PST files easily
MS Outlook stores emails in the form of Personal storage Table (PST) files with .pst extension. But sometimes it happens that while working with Outlook, the important mails gets deleted by mistake making great loss to your business. So, there it becomes necessary to recover hard deleted email PST file as soon as possible so as to get them back.
Actually, when email PST files get deleted, the email stored in it does not get immediately erased; instead moved to the Deleted Items folder. So, if you have recently deleted the files, then you have the chance to recover them directly from that folder. But now the question arises that how you can recover hard deleted email PST file from Deleted Items folder. Here are some steps that will help you regarding this:
- Check out the deleted items folder to confirm that the deleted mails exist there or not.
- Go to Microsoft support and follow the wizards shown by it to complete the recovery process. Again restart the program to check whether recovery of the mails is done or not. If not, then follow the next step.
- Go to start, Run, and type “Regedit” to open the Registry Editor.
- Click on the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Options" in the registry editor.
- Move to the Edit menu and click on Add Value option. Type "DumpsterAlwaysOn" into the "Value Name" field. Then after, type "DWORD" into the "Data Type" field. Type "1" into the "Value Data" field. Finally close the registry Editor.
- Again open Ms Outlook. Go to Tools and Deleted items folder. From there, select the deleted mail you need to restore and drag it on to the Inbox icon available in the Personal Folders icon under mail view pane. Doing this, will restore the mails in your inbox.
So, going through these steps, you can easily restore hard deleted email PST files from Deleted Items folder with minimum effort.
