How to Use Stellar Phoenix UNIX Data Recovery Software!
Stellar Phoenix Recovery is all-in-one software that can recover all the lost, corrupted or deleted files and folders. There are different version of Stellar Phoenix UNIX Recovery software is available that are made according to different operating system where they need to be used. It is because different operating systems have their own file system and therefore the software need to work according to those file system.

Steps to use Stellar Phoenix UNIX Data Recovery Software:
For (SCO OpenServer):
When VTOC gets corrupted,
- Click the Select ‘Select Physical disk’ button on the ‘Icon’ toolbar.
- A dialog Box will appear that lists the physical disks
- Select the disk from where you have to do the recovery
- Then select the ‘search for logical Drives / Volumes’
- The Scanning starts and list of the recoverable files will be displayed
- Select the corrupted or missing files
- Software analyses the drive data structure and file system attributes and displays the files in the tree format
- Choose the Recover All option (to recover everything) and Recover Selected (to recover selected Files).
Caution – Do not save the data in the drive from where you are doing the recovery because it results as the overwriting of the data and after that you will face permanent data loss.
When Super Block Corrupts,
- Follow step 1 & 2 of VTOC corruption.
- Choose the logical drive from Physical disk.
- Choose the ‘Use Partition Table Information to get volume information’ in the dialog box.
- Choose the corrupted partition.
- Follow steps 7 and 8 of VTOC corruption.
You can choose the location where you want to save the recovered files & directories. Just select the destination folder in the target drive that would store the recovered data. Then you are ready to recover all the data and click on OK button to start recovery.
